The meeting began by passing the chairs of partnership committees to newly elected chairs for this year. The chair of the Governmental Committee was passed from ICPRB to EPA. The chair of the Utilities Committee was passed from WSSC to Fairfax Water, who will be chairing partnership meetings this year. The group then reviewed their accomplishments during their first year as a partnership, which included two successful technical workshops, the first on pathogens and the second on emerging contaminants. The group also outlined plans for the upcoming year and discussed priorities and funding opportunities. A committee was formed to further explore funding issues.
